Born in 1894, Kiichiro was the son of Sakichi Toyoda, the inventor of the automatic loom. Building on his father’s engineering spirit, Kiichiro founded Toyota Motor Corporation in 1937. His leadership and foresight guided Toyota’s transition from textile machinery to automobiles, creating a philosophy of continuous improvement that shaped Japanese industry.
