What is the difference between Lean and Six Sigma?
Lean Six Sigma combines two powerful improvement methodologies. Lean focuses on speed and efficiency: eliminating waste so that processes run more smoothly. Six Sigma focuses on quality and error reduction: “to measure is to know” is the guiding principle. Together, they form a complete approach to process improvement that is applicable in any organization.
